چکیده
Preservation of the remains and the inclusion of small amounts of other species (particularly the human bones) suggests that the bones were redeposited and probably represent fellmongers refuse. The low incidence of butchery marks implies that the horse bones are unlikely to be the remains of animals slaughtered for human consumption, the few knife and chop marks probably being associated with skinning and carcase dismemberment.
